Green Mingle February 2026

The Green Mingle is the Partnership’s monthly networking event. It offers individuals and organisations the opportunity to meet in an informal setting, make connections, share ideas, and learn about innovative projects and initiatives in Bristol.

This month we will be highlighting organisations paving the way for green skill opportunities across the city as part of the Mission Net Zero project. Speakers will be focusing on the theme of skills to unlock the Clean Energy Transition. We will be hearing from:

• Bristol City Council, spotlighting the apprenticeships and short courses available in the city and region

• UWE, providing an overview of how their programmes and courses contribute skills to unlock the clean energy transition

• YES (Youth Environmental Service), giving an introduction to the YES programme and its mission to support young people access paid entry-level opportunities

• Local Trades People, showcasing how local trades play a key role in the energy transition

The event is free to attend, but please reserve a space. The February Mingle is taking place at Triodos Bank's event space, The Foundation, on St George's Road. Free vegan nibbles will be provided.

The Green Mingle is a welcoming and inclusive space where attendees are welcome to share their environment-related news and updates. The Partnership is non-politically affiliated and takes a zero tolerance approach to discrimination, therefore we reserve the right to refuse the distribution of materials that don't align with our policies and values, at our discretion.

Accessibility information

• The space is on one level, with street level access and has disabled toilet facilities.

• This is a standing networking event, but there are some chairs available if needed.

What we can offer on request

• A BSL interpreter can be provided but we do require at least two weeks’ notice, and this may be dependent on availability.

• We have a small number of noise cancelling headphones that you can request in advance.

What we cannot offer

• There is no parking provided at the venue. College Street Car Park, BS1 5UU, is the nearest short stay car park (up to 4 hours).

• A quiet space —­ unfortunately this venue does not offer this, however nearby venues include Costa Coffee and GAIL'S Bakery (closes 6.30pm).

• We cannot provide captions for speakers.

• The ability to meet all dietary requirements — however vegan and gluten free options are offered as standard, and allergens are listed. We can’t guarantee there is no cross-contamination.
