GreenHouse Residency Workshop: Connective Collaboration - Using Digital Technology As Storytellers

When we say ‘connect’ we think of technology. Face Times, phone calls and DMs. Technology is a part of our collective story now, so how can we as artists find ways to include it to engage new ideas and audiences? 

Join artists Lily Hayman from Purple Tape Productions as they lead a workshop in embedded digital storytelling. Using your own device, they will help you craft a story using easily accessible technologies, creating live performance that captures the full experience of connection in our modern world.

Bio: Lily is a writer, director and producer from Southern Sydney who lives and works on the unceded land of the Dharawal people. She is the co-founder of Purple Tape Productions, and is currently the Creative Producer for Voxstep. Lily’s Directing credits include; I Want It That Gay and The Future Show (2025), [YOUR NAME] and Dignified Exit (2024), Party Girl  (2023-4), Stop. Drop. And Listen and Expiration Date (2023). She is the writer/director of Fledgling (2021-22) and co-creator of The Infinity Mirror (2021-2) alongside Thomas Doyle. She was recently Associate Director for Naturism (2025) with Griffin Theatre Company and was an Associate Producer for Brisbane Festival in 2025.
