Greenline & Floating Wetlands Walking Tour
Discover the Future of Melbourne's Riverfront
Join the City of Melbourne for a guided walking tour along the Birrarung's north bank to explore the Greenline Project, the floating wetlands trial and the vision for revitalising Melbourne's riverfront.
Beginning at Birrarung Marr, the tour will follow the river to discover new boardwalks, riverside plantings and the floating wetlands at Enterprize Park and Yarra's Edge.
Along the way, you'll learn about the floating wetlands trial, the ecological benefits these innovative projects can bring to the Birrarung, and the future potential of nature-based enhancements for the river.
The tour will also explore the City of Melbourne's plans for the Greenline Project and include a visit to the new Seafarers Rest Park in Docklands.
Hosted by the City of Melbourne and the Greenline Project, this is a unique opportunity to discover how the Birrarung is being transformed for both people and nature.
This event is being generously hosted by City of Melbourne.

We pay respect to Traditional Owners, who have, and continue, to care for Country. We acknowledge that the river now called Yarra has always been known as the Birrarung by its custodians.
