Greens Bush Stunner - Mid Pace 10km
Event description
MID PACE HIKER - Event Leader - Michael
Our "Mid-Pace Hikers" group strikes the perfect balance between a moderate pace and enjoyment. These hikes are designed for those seeking a challenge without feeling rushed, offering plenty of opportunities to capture photos and appreciate the stunning natural surroundings. They’re ideal for hikers who want to improve their strength and endurance while connecting with like-minded individuals who value the outdoors and the benefits of regular, moderately paced exercise.
Pace: 12-14 minutes per kilometre on undulating terrain
If you're unsure whether this pace suits your fitness level, we recommend starting with our "Relaxed Hiker" hikes, which provide a great introduction to the group and allow you to build confidence at a gentler pace.
Discover the magic of Greens Bush - a stunning section of the Mornington Peninsula National Park that follows the famous Two Bays Walking Track.
We’ll wander through tranquil eucalypt woodlands, past open grasslands and shaded gullies filled with Coast Banksia and Blackwoods. Keep your eyes peeled...we may be lucky enough to spot an Eastern Grey Kangaroo or even an echidna along the way!
This hike is approximately 10 km, with some uneven terrain, loose rocks, and a few steady inclines - nothing too wild, just enough to get the heart rate up.
It’s a truly beautiful walk and the perfect way to start your Sunday morning - fresh air, movement, and good company on the trails. 🌿
