EPIC Families,
Join us for a one-of-a kind field trip on April 17th to the Iowa Tribe's Grey Snow Eagle House in Perkins. This field trip presentation is geared towards Pre-K through 6th grade. However, all grades are welcome to attend. The Grey Snow Eagle House provides long-term care to permanently injured bald and golden eagles, provides rehabilitation care to Oklahoma bald and golden eagles, offers onsite educational opportunities, as well as nationwide research projects. We will meet in the Education building where our students will see a live presentation to learn more about the eagles and the conservation efforts of the Grey Snow Eagle House. Epic Field Trip COST:
- All Students: Free
- Adults: $1 per adult (cash & credit card accepted)
- Parking: Free
ITINERARY:
We will begin our day by meeting inside the Education Building located near the 1st parking lot.
Check-In Procedure: Upon arrival, please check in with a Family Engagement Epic staff member who will be in Epic gear and located inside the front entrance where you will also receive a paper copy of the schedule. We’d also love to see you in your Epic gear!

POLICIES: This Epic field trip is free. You will register using Humanitix which will hold your spot for the field trip as a reservation. Parents, please register yourself and each of your Epic students who will be participating. This enables the school and the location to staff and plan appropriately. Our field trips do have a maximum capacity. Therefore, we ask that when registering your students, you only register Epic enrolled Pre-K through 12th-grade students so that the spots are filled by our students.
Students cannot be dropped off to attend a field trip without a parent or guardian unless they are of driving age and drive themselves. You will need your student’s Epic ID number and teacher’s name when signing up for the field trip in Humanitix.
This is a public event and photographs and or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student to not have a photograph or video taken please let our Epic staff know during check-in.
Service Animals: Families, please contact the event location directly to confirm whether service dogs are allowed.

Sensory Bags: Sensory bags will be available to check out for use at this event. Upon arrival, see any Epic Family Engagement team member to check a bag out and return all sensory bags to an Epic Family Engagement team member before leaving the event. There is a limited supply of sensory bags.
CANCELLATIONS: How do I cancel my family's reservation?
As a reminder, if you sign up to come but are unable to make it, please cancel your reservation using your Humanitix confirmation email. This will open up spots for other families. Steps Here: Go to your Humanitix Confirmation Email. Click on "Manage Order", then Click "Refund/Cancel." Select ALL or manually select the tickets you need to cancel. Click the "Review" button, then Click the "Confirm" button.
What is the inclement Weather Plan? If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Eventbrite to let you know if the field trip has been canceled.
