Grief and Loss in Late Life - for CHSP providers
Grief is a constant presence in late life — functional decline, loss of independence, family distress, ambiguous loss, and client death. This workshop provides language, understanding, and practical tools for responding to grief in older people, families, and colleagues.
Learning Outcomes:
Understand grief in late life (including ambiguous loss)
Recognise grief responses in older people and families
Respond to grief with confidence and compassion
Support clients through decline and transitions
Reduce emotional fatigue and improve resilience
