Grief and Loss Workshop: A Space for Reverence and Ritual
Event description
Tending the Grief: A Space for Reverence and Healing
Date & Time: Saturday 21st June 2025, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Centennial Park
Join us for a gentle, community-centered workshop that holds reverence for the complexity of loss and provides space for reflection, connection, and expression.
This workshop offers:
🌿 Ritual and Reflection – A guided labyrinth walk to symbolize the path of grief.
🌿 Art and Creation – Craft a communal art piece using natural materials, a meditative process to express and release emotions.
🌿 Community and Support – Share in a safe, welcoming circle or simply hold space for others as we close together.
Grief has never been private; it has always been communal. Subconsciously, we are awaiting the presence of others, before we can feel safe enough to drop to our knees on the holy ground of sorrow.
