Grief and Rage Rave Cave
Event description
Note: this event has a requirement to arrive at 6:15 for a 6:30pm start.
This is your invitation to Dive Deep into some of the ancient cultural practises that are missing from our modern society.
Our inherited modern culture has taught us to process our emotions alone, which can leave us with unseen, unprocessed, lonely, silent grief and deep sorrow for ourselves, community & the state of the world as we currently know it.
Come explore somatic dance and sound as we release some of our BIG emotions from within ourselves into this sacred container.
We will journey through a curated playlist of emotive music, where we will explore what it is to cry, grieve, scream and wail collectively.
Just as our tribal ancestors practised keening and wailing for centuries before us, we too will explore this communal way of expressing and processing grief and loss while connecting to ourselves, each other, the world around us and spiritual realms unseen.
Being mindfully present, please check in with yourselves throughout the evening - tapping into your own self- care with self - regulation tools & offered practises.
To close we will wind down with a sound bath and shivasana, bringing us back to centre.
Tea and supper provided for grounding and connection invitation after the journey close.
BYO: Pillow, mat, blanket & water bottle.
Please wear loose, comfy layers and no heavy scents.
