From Grief to Love with Kundalini
Description
Grief comes in many forms and for many reasons, however it all comes from a deep sense of loss.
Often the deepest experience grief comes through the death of those we love. But the loss of love is not restricted to death. It comes through lost relationships, with lovers, family and friends, the loss of places and things, like moving away from a home you've known all your life, seeing the destruction of wild places you love and losing things that have had sentimental meaning to you.
Behind all this is the broken heart of love lost.
Finding love with Kundalini and Sound
In this workshop we will be diving into the space of grief to reconnect with the love that was taken from our broken hearts.
Using breathwork techniques, Kundalini Yoga practices and meditation, you will be guided into the space of your body for a somatic experience of opening and release. It is your body that holds the balance of your emotions, and by allowing yourself to feel you open the space for a conversation with grief and the discovery of the love that lies within.
This workshop is guided by sound. The gentle rhythm of the drum supports you throughout the yoga practice and a full Deep Sound Immersion allows you to fully integrate your experience.
The Deep Sound Immersion commences at 2pm and will have others joining at this time. There will be a short break of around 5 minutes to rearrange mats and you may like to journal your experience at this time.
What to bring
Please bring a bottle of water, yoga mat, a cushion to sit on and a blanket to keep yourself warm during the Deep Sound Immersion. You may also like to bring a notebook and pen.
If you do not have a mat please contact so I can bring one for you (limited number of mats available and will only be provided if requested).
