ATTENTION: This event is exclusively available to all government-approved Aged Care Providers and HCWSP participants working or engaged with the Home Care Workforce Support Program (HCWSP). Enabling EDIE (Educational Dementia Immersive Experience) is an immersive workshop that enables you to see the world through the eyes of a person living with dementia. Using our virtual reality technology, this workshop enhances knowledge of dementia while exploring strategies to support a person with dementia to live more confidently.

You will gain knowledge in:

  • The perspective of someone living with dementia.
  • Identifying support needs in partnership with the client and their carer.
  • Developing a dementia support plan that focuses on enabling a person living with dementia.

Suitable for:

Staff in various care settings providing support to people living with dementia. This training is only open to registered participants of the Home Care Workforce Support Program and/or Home Care Provider management staff.
