Empowering Conversations teaches frontline responders how to craft and deliver brief conversational interventions (that don't look like therapy) with distressed and traumatised clients, to help prevent and resolve psychological trauma. Participants learn how to:
- Recognise trauma in our clients, and quickly understand the type and level of trauma they are experiencing
- Craft a brief empowering conversation to address distress and trauma
- Deliver a brief intervention in a way that clients can receive it.
