Shine your shoes, chuck on your Sunday best, and come on down to Afternoon Fancy - an afternoon of great original music - and an excuse to get, mildly or wildly, dressed up nice, whatever tickles your fancy.
Local artist Grim Fawkner hosts an afternoon of folk, blues & country music from some of Victoria’s finest resident songwriters, in between the cosy walls of Bendigo’s The Old Church On The Hill.
Featuring the musical talents of The Rattlers, Kerryn Fields, Alister Turrill, Sherri Parry, Jarrod Shaw & Grim Fawkner himself, there ain’t no finer way to spend your Sunday. So tell your sweetheart you’re taking them out, or rope in your music appreciation’ mates, and put a big cross on that calendar.
The Pickled Vicar will be slinging drinks whilst the musicians play, and platters of nibbles will be provided for all kinds of eatin’ peculiarities, to tide you over till home time.
