Unfortunately, the teams at Falls Creek Alpine Resorts and Grinduro Global have had to make the incredibly difficult decision of postponing the event.

This is due to a recent landslide on the main access road to Falls Creek Resort, and the ongoing safety risk. This occurrence, along with recent heavy rainfall, has meant that authorities have closed the road to all traffic for an unknown period of time. These authorities (Department of Transport and SES) are working toward a relaxation of the road access constraints by Christmas, subject to ongoing assessment of the landslide site, but it is preventing the event from proceeding on the scheduled date.

The decision to postpone the event was based on: rider safety, as Emergency Services are now a minimum of 2 hours away; travel time to the resort increasing by 1-3 hours; and supply constraints to the Falls Creek Village, which would not allow this event to be held in the true Grinduro Spirit.

All ticket holders will automatically receive a full refund, which we will process by COB this Friday the 28th of October. 

We are currently working with the Grinduro team to set our sights on locking in a date for 2023. We will update you with a 2023 event date as soon as details have been confirmed.
