Grinn Media Presents: BATTLEGROUND!

WELCOME TO THE BATTLEGROUND! Are you tired of people claiming they are the best? Are you tired of all the talk and no action? Then welcome to "BATTLEGROUND"! This hip-hop-centric event will be a test of skill. One for all those who DARE to call themselves a rapper. What's the twist you ask? Well... ITS A GAME OF KEEP AWAY!

Grinn Media will be putting up a $100 prize pot up front. Other challengers can sweeten the pot for the winner! So can the challengers keep their money away from their competitors? Or will they lose and walk home with nothing?! On top of this, Grinn will give the winner a Radio Promotion Package courtesy of Busy1Radio! This will include a 1-hour radio interview, an artist spotlight interview that will go in regular rotation promoted by Busy1, and be put in regular radio rotation on the radio station! Anyway, we should tell you how it works right???

1. We play hip-hop-based games to test our challengers' skills, including flow, crowd work, wordplay, punchlines, etc.

2. We do it tournament bracket style! With a total of 8 rappers, we will do two separate brackets. Each of the preliminaries will have 4 challengers. From there, 2 winners will be selected from each bracket and go to the semifinals. With 4 challengers left at this point, 2 will be chosen for the FINALS to go head to head for the final prize pot! 

3. It will operate with a point system with judges and a crowd vote. This is a 5-point system, we will have 3 judges, 3 rounds, and 15 points will be available per round. The crowd is an extra 2 points for the one who wins them over each round! This could make or break the winner! The best score out of 15 in each bracket is declared the winner!
