GROUND! | August FreeFlow ~ Conscious Dance for Women
Event description
Freeflow Conscious Dance for Women.
About the Dance ~
♡ A safe space for women* to shed, release, renew.
♡ To move like no one is watching, to dance your inner feelings and express through your body.
♡ In our dance there is no choreography, no right or wrong. Your dance, your way...
♡ We set our intention at the opening of each dance and share the floor with reverence and respect for our dance and each other in a drug & alcohol free space.
♡ Let the music guide you.
Each time you dance will be unique, bringing with it your experiences, feelings and emotions. As we dance we explore, uncover, release.
The dance may be joyful, but it may also bring up feelings of grief, sadness and many different emotions. We bring our human-ness and welcome it all with open hearts. No judgement, no shame.
♡ To close each session, we join in circle and breathe together.
A shared experience of individual expression. There is great beauty and depth in the union of body, mind, spirit and community.
♡ Age 16+. No children. This is a space for women to release and restore. Mothers with babes- in -arms or baby wearing please contact me to discuss suitability.
*A safe space for all women and non-binary folk comfortable in a female centred space
♡ Come and share the dance with us! ♡

♡ A Little About SAFETY:
We all have the right to our own thoughts, expression and bodily autonomy. Embodied Creative will not tolerate any discrimation or abusive speech based on race, sex, gender, religion or any other form in this space.
This is a safe container to explore your own thoughts, emotions, feelings and body. We encourage open expression both on the dancefloor and in our beautiful, initimate sharing circles. The sessions remain confidential during and after the event. Please be aware, however, that this is a group space and deep trauma and talk of trauma can be triggering to others. We ask you to be respectful of everyone's safety and share with authenticity and bravery, but also a sensitvity to others in the group. One on one support can be offered during the event and can be sought as a follow up by contacting Embodied Creative.
