Waves for thriving Sound Therapy
About the event
Alessandra offers 55 minutes of sound therapy, harmonically playing a variety of instruments (Gong, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes and more) to induce calm, peaceful and joyful inner states. During the sound bath you lay down comfortably with your eyes closed and let the magic of these ancient instruments take you into a deep relaxation and stillness journey that you may never have experienced before.
During the Sound Bath, you listen to the sounds that help you cut through mental patterning, drift into coherent brain waves and experience states of awareness such as joy, calmness and spaciousness. The listener will tend to entrain and attune to the harmonious state that the sounds invoke, by a well-known process of Entrainment that incites a neurological response to the harmonious vibrational frequencies.
Scientific studies show evidence that sound therapy helps to relieve stress and improve health by:
• Mediating pain
• Reducing stress and anxiety
• Improving sleeping
• Increasing dopamine levels and joyful states
• Boosting the immune system
• Calming the busy mind and improving mood
• Regulating the vagus nerve that stimulates several body functions, including: digestion, heart rate, mood control, immune response, among others
