Grow, Connect, Volunteer: A Micro-Volunteering Gardening Session 🪴

The Swan Volunteer Resource Centre is proud to be partnering with the Growing Friends Society (GFS) to host a community volunteering event in support of their new community hub: Friendship Central.

This volunteer session aims to showcase the power of volunteering and community connection while encouraging people to get involved and make a difference in their community.

Friendship Central is located on West Swan Road in West Swan and will be home to an amazing community permaculture garden.

At this hands-on volunteering session you will take part in the activity of propergation of trees which will eventually be grown at this new community garden!

Volunteers will not only make a positive impact on the community garden but will also learn useful skills they can apply at home. There may even be some cuttings you can take home and plant in your own garden.

This volunteer event is suitable for all abilities.

If you are interested in volunteering, gardening, permaculture or simply building connections this free event is for you.

Light lunch provided at conclusion of the event.

Plenty of free parking available on-site.
