Joining us by the Campaspe River is headline speaker Peter Byck of Carbon Cowboys launching his docuseries “Roots So Deep”. Plus soil expert Joel Williams, Nikki Davey of Grown Not Flown, Rowan Reid author of Heartwood, Courtney Young of Woodstock Flour and Soils For Life, Nats Hardy & Jono Hurst of Brooklands Free Range Farms, humans-in-agriculture researcher Prof Ruth Nettle, Kirsten Diprose (theimpossiblefarmher), Laura Dalrymple from Feather and Bone Providore, Josh Gomez (roadside weeds expert) and Harry Lloyd, recently on Farmer Wants A Wife ; ) AND many more 💫

After presenting at GROW Festival on February 22, headline speaker Peter Byck will host an intimate screening of his new docuseries "Roots So Deep", followed by a Q&A.

Screening is at: La Trobe Art Institute, 121 View St Bendigo, February 23, 1pm-4pm

In “Roots So Deep”, Peter Byck meets farmers on both sides of the fence – the folks practicing an adaptive way to graze, and their neighbours set in their family’s generations-old method of doing things. Peter’s team of outcast scientists are measuring what’s happening in the soil and on their farms to understand if using adaptive grazing could help slow down climate change.
