Join us at EcoMatters' Hope Teaching Garden, on the banks of the Whau River, for this Love Food Hate workshop.
Amanda will talk about growing food with regenerative practices, harvesting fresh food from the garden, and getting creative with food preparation.
This workshop covers:
Growing and harvesting your own food: Learn how to set yourself up for success in your garden and grow healthy food to enjoy.
Exploring Creative Cooking: Learn how to repurpose leftovers, food scraps and overlooked ingredients into delicious and nutritious meals.
Understanding Composting: Gain insights into effective strategies for using food waste to create nutrient-rich soil, enabling you to grow nutritious food sustainably.
Participating in Hands-On Activities: Learning and sharing through interactive cooking and fun, engaging activities.
