AFL Grand final not your thing? Get down and dirty at the FREE Grow it Local Workshop.

Get tips and tricks for making the most of your food garden - whether it is in pots on the patio, raised beds in the yard or anything in between.

All attendees take home some seeds and potting mix to launch the next stage of their gardening adventure.

No previous experience necessary - those with stories of wins and losses encouraged to share. This is a hands on workshop in the Burnie Community Garden whilst we learn. Please park at the Community House and we will walk to the Hilltop Garden together.

Afternoon tea provided. All you need to bring is a hat, water bottle and sense of fun. If you prefer to wear gloves please bring these along.

Participants will be asked to complete a short survey post-event to help with planning future activities. There will also be a post event photo competition to share what you have grown!
