FAQs

  • Who should attend this module?

Recommended for attendees from previous Grow Your Flow classes as it builds upon information from earlier classes. Also suitable for those with intermediate or advanced cytometry experience. The class finishes up with graduation and certificates of completion for those who complete the requisite number of classes. Join us for one last cytometry chat to round out the year.

  • How long is the class?

The module itself will take approximately 120-150 minutes. We reserve the room and our cytometry experts for the whole afternoon, if you wish to spend time networking with your cytometry peers or asking our experts, we do no need to rush away. We encourage interaction and questions throughout the presentation, and will follow tangents as they arise in questions. Anyone can ask us to explain anything they need, and we will take whatever time is necessary to ensure the content is clearly understood and contextualised. This session will include for a break part way through the lecture to allow everyone to refresh their brains and indulge in some cookies. The will always be cookies at a Grow Your Flow class.

  • Is the class in person or online?

Both. If you are able to attend in person, we have capacity for 40 people in the seminar room at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research in Wellington, New Zealand. If this location does not suit you, then you may register to attend online.

  • I want to register as an online attendee, what presentation platform will be used and when will I receive the join link?

We have found that Microsoft Teams has shown the greatest cross-institute and device compatibility. A join link will be provided to online registrants with their ticket purchase.

  • When is the latest I can register for a class?

Registration for each class will close 6 hours prior to the start time.

  • I registered, but I missed the class, can I get the content?

Each class will be recorded and made available to registered class members through our Members-only section of the Hugh Green Technology Centre Website. Our slides are animated and contain interactive media, and do not translate well into a hand out, therefore we do no share our slides.
