    Delve into the intriguing and delicious world of Australian Bush Foods with CERES trainer and horticulturist Belinda Kennedy. Tour the CERES bush food gardens, learn how to identify, grow and maintain a variety of local bush foods, Gain knowledge of bush foods from further afar - tropical delights from the north, peppery spices form the south. During the workshop you will learn how to incorporate bush foods into simple, tasty and nutritious meals, desserts and snacks.

    Trainer Bio:

    Belinda Kennedy has been working within the horticulture industry for over 10 years, specialising in sustainable and organic garden design and management utilisiing permaculture principles. She has worked in numerous fields within the industry alongside several key landscape designers throughout Melbourne; co-designing, implementing and maintaining home landscapes on various scales; teaching training courses and workshops in Certified Horticulture and Landscape Design along with revegetation work along Melbourne's waterways and parklands. 

    Belinda has completed an Advanced Diploma in Horticulture at Melbourne University, a Permaculture Design Course and is currently employed as the Site Horticulturalist and Volunteer Coordinator at CERES Environment Park and runs a sustainable garden design and maintenance company. Along with her hands on experience she is currently working on several literary productions based on permaculture and sustainable gardening along with producing a plant data base for the inner Melbourne region.
