Description

Growing and Leveraging Networks

Building a startup can feel like a solo pursuit, but the strongest founders know how to draw on the expertise, connections and support of others.

In this practical workshop, experienced entrepreneur, investor, and advisor Doug Steiner will explore how founders can build and activate a broad professional network around their venture.

The session will look beyond traditional networking to consider the valuable roles accountants, lawyers, advisors, fellow founders and funders can play at different stages of the startup journey.

Participants will learn how to identify gaps in their existing network, approach potential supporters with purpose and navigate pathways to advice, introductions, and funding. The workshop will help founders think more strategically about relationships, while building and leveraging the support network they need to move forward without trying to do everything alone.
