Event description

HERBAL TEAS - GROWING & BLENDING AT HOME

with JUDY KEATS

Saturday 5 December - 10:00am to 12:30pm

Join us at Kelmarna Gardens to explore the possibilities for growing herbal teas and learn everything you need to know to get started at home.

In this workshop with Judy Keats you will forage for herbs, learn about cultivation and drying methods, explore medicinal benefits, blend flavours, and brew your own herbal teas!

What to expect:

The session will start with a foraging exercise to observe the growing habits, preferred conditions, and to gather a variety of essential tea-brewing herbs.

You will then try your hands at combining them to craft and taste test your own blends as Judy guides you through drying methods and some of the health benefits and medicinal uses for different herbs.

At the end of the session, you will get to choose two seedlings to take home with you to get started growing the ingredients for your favourite blend on your own!

So look forward to an herbal adventure with Judy that will leave you able to create and share your own delicious herbal teas at home!
