Growing for Life

Join us at Green Thumb Farm where you will get to plant, care for, harvest and eat food that you have grown.

-A 6-week hands on engaging program for young people with a diverse range of additional needs and their supervising adult.

-Best suited to students 8 years old and above.

-Small group of participants, led by an experienced Farm educator.

-Students will be able to work in a way that helps them to feel supported and comfortable.

-Be part of our farm community.

-Build skills around how to grow food, create healthy soil and compost.

-Build confidence, life skills, independence and social skills.

-A passion for growing food at home.

-Exposure to a range of vegetables and foods that support healthy eating choices.

Investment - $210 per student for a 6-week program - includes all materials - harvested goods - take homes

We need a minimum number of students to run so please RSVP and we will be in touch.
