Join Scott Hitchins, sustainable gardening expert, for a fun, practical session on growing fruit in even the tiniest of places. Whether you live in an apartment with a sunny balcony, a compact courtyard, or a small backyard, Scott will show you how to create an abundant, productive edible garden using methods tailored for small urban spaces.

What we’ll cover:

Fruit trees for pots – how to choose varieties that thrive in containers
Trees, brambles, bushes & vines – selecting the right plant for the right place
Making the most of walls, edges & overhead space – creative vertical and structural growing ideas
Aspect, sun & shade – understanding seasonal light and microclimates
Watering, drainage & fertilising – keeping your potted fruit healthy and productive
Lifestyle‑friendly growing methods – systems that suit busy schedules and small‑space living

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already growing a few things, you’ll leave with the confidence to set up (or scale up!) your own compact fruit garden. Come along and learn how even the smallest space can deliver a delicious harvest.
