  • A minimum upfront payment, which includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit, is required to secure your order.

Event description

GROWING GRASSES: A NATIVE GRASS CLASS

Come along and enjoy afternoon tea, a nursery tour & learn all about:

  • the importance and benefits of local native grasses in your garden and on your property 
  • incorporating native grasses into your landscape  - what species serves your purpose and which grass species combinations work best
  • warm versus cool season species
  • seed collection and timing
  • local grass species identification and seed types

WHEN

Friday, 22nd March, 1pm-3pm. Please arrive at 12:45pm for registration

WHERE 

Our Native Garden Nursery, 29 Kane Rod, Wodonga

WHAT TO BRING

    • Wear enclosed shoes, appropriate outdoor clothing, sun protection, and a raincoat or umbrella in case of showers
    • If you are unwell on the day please remain at home in consideration of the health of others
    • Afternoon tea will be provided
    • Physical Fitness level required: EASY (standing and/or sitting for 1 hour or more required)

    Protecting native, perennial grasses


    While we are able to cater for gluten-free and vegetarian options at our events it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement due to our limited funding. If you have dietary requirements outside of these two options please bring your own food and drink.
