Growing Independence in a Digital World: Supporting Children's Health, Wellbeing and Autonomy
Description
As technology becomes increasingly embedded in everyday life, many parents are asking how they can support their children to develop healthy habits, strong relationships and the skills needed to navigate this rapidly evolving world.
Join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring health professionals, as we explore what it means to help children thrive in the digital age.
Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience, our panellists will share insights on children's physical health, social development and emotional wellbeing, discussing both the opportunities and challenges that technology can bring. Together, we'll consider practical strategies and resources to help children build the confidence, capabilities and autonomy needed to engage with digital technologies in healthy and meaningful ways.
This event is aimed at parents and caregivers of children aged 0-8 years. It will also be of interest to educators, early childhood professionals, health practitioners, and others who support families with young children.
In addition to the panel discussion, attendees will have opportunities to network with peers and engage directly with our panelists during a post-event networking session.
