Event description

GROWING RESILIENCE FORUM - Registration information for Neighbourhood and Community Centres

Neighbourhood Centres Queensland (NCQ) has been successful in obtaining Category C Flood funding to host a “Growing Resilience Forum” held Monday 10th July on the Gold Coast. This is a free event.

The purpose of the forum is to strengthen relationships, shared understanding and collaboration of the disaster management sector and its systems across Queensland.

This forum will be a good opportunity for staff of Neighbourhood Centres to connect, not only with one another, but also with representatives of the broader Qld disaster management sector.

The forum includes a morning specifically for Neighbourhood Centres and an afternoon with disaster management sector representatives.

See the Growing Resilience Forum web page for full event and registration details. Please book early to secure your place.

Forum registrations close Wednesday 21st June

NCQ is offering a 20% discount registrations for Disaster & Emergency Management Conference (11-12 July, same venue) to those who attend the Growing Resilience Forum. The conference discount code will be included in the Forum registration confirmation email.

NCQ is also offering sponsored places to Neighbourhood Centres to attend the Disaster & Emergency Management Conference. This offer is for 12 in-person (inc. accommodation and subsidised travel) and 5 online places. Priority will be given to regional and remote areas and First Nations staff.
