The Fourth Trimester Begins Now - Growing Together
Description
Growing Together
The Fourth Trimester Begins Now
Saturday 7 November 2026 | Sutherland Shire
An afternoon of learning, connection and community.
Preparing for birth is only part of the journey.
The early months of parenthood are a time of immense change - for your body, your baby, your relationships and your family. Yet so much of the focus during pregnancy is placed on birth itself, with little preparation for what comes next.
Growing Together is a nurturing spring gathering created for expecting parents and families in the first year of parenthood.
Bringing together experienced local practitioners, Growing Together offers practical, evidence-informed guidance to support your baby's development, your postpartum recovery and your family's nervous system as you navigate life beyond birth.
Throughout the afternoon we'll explore:
• Baby development and the early months
• Postpartum recovery and healing
• Parent and baby nervous system regulation
• Feeding and practical support
• Building connection and community
Alongside inspiring presentations, you'll enjoy opportunities for gentle movement, practical tools, meaningful conversations and connection with other local families.
Every attendee will also receive a thoughtfully curated gift bag and entry into a prize draw featuring thoughtful offerings from our local practitioners and community supporters.
Whether you're preparing to welcome your first baby or growing your family again, our hope is that you leave feeling more informed, more supported and more connected.

FAQs
- Who is Growing Together for?
Growing Together is for expecting parents and families in the first year with their baby.
You might be preparing to welcome your first baby, or your second, third or fourth. Each baby brings their own transition, and the shape and rhythm of family life shifts alongside them.
- Can I come if this isn't my first baby?
Absolutely. Growing Together isn't only for first-time parents.
Every baby brings a new season for a family. Your body, relationships, older children, routines and support needs may all look different this time around. Growing Together creates space to explore and support those changes too.
- Can I come while I'm pregnant?
Yes. Growing Together has been created for both expecting parents and families navigating the first year after birth.
Coming during pregnancy gives you an opportunity to gather practical knowledge, connect with trusted practitioners and begin thinking about the transition into life with your baby before they arrive.
- Can partners come?
Yes, and partners are very welcome.
Part of Growing Together explores US: relationships, communication, emotional wellbeing and navigating the changes that come with welcoming a baby together.
A pair ticket is available for those who would like to attend together.
- Can I come on my own?
Absolutely. You are very welcome to attend on your own, and single tickets are available.
There will also be opportunities throughout the afternoon to connect with other parents, families and practitioners.
- Can I bring my baby?
Yes. Babies are very welcome and there is no additional cost for babies.
Please bring whatever you need to feed, settle and care for your baby comfortably throughout the afternoon. Feeding, cuddling, changing and tending to your baby are all welcome as you need.
