Growing Up Strong

Navigating puberty can be an exciting, confusing and sometimes overwhelming time for young people and their families. Growing Up Strong is an engaging and age-appropriate workshop designed to help pre-teens build confidence, knowledge and understanding about the changes that come with growing up.

Facilitated by the Queensland Sexual Health and Education Institute (QSHEI), this session will explore puberty, menstrual health, body literacy and sexual health in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Participants will gain practical information, have the opportunity to ask questions, and leave feeling more prepared for the physical and emotional changes of adolescence.
