Workshop A - Physical Theatre - Presenter – Karen Inwood Lecturer UniSA Education Futures. Explore the language of the Laban Eight Working Actions, the Viewpoints and Drama Elements in this workshop and how they can lead to you and your students using physical drama language and creating physical action for creative pursuits.
Workshop B - Transitioning limited digital modelling skills into high end outcomes - Presenter – Luke Atkinson - Digital Technology and Creative Arts Teacher Kadina Memorial School. Learn how students can bring established skills and the multiple ways they can incorporate them into a myriad of creative mediums and creative outcomes. This is hands-on session will develop skills in using simple, free 3D Modelling software (MagicaVoxel). and provide insight into how your site can incorporate and plan for implementation, or just use what you have available.
12:30 am – Lunch break - BYO
1:15 pm - Insights into Creative Arts 7-12 - Presenter – Jacq Barry - Senior Creative & Visual Art teacher Kadina Memorial School. Presentation and discussion on how Kadina Memorial School have implemented Creative Arts from Year 7 to Year 12, linking to ACARA and SACE. Integrated connections to various other subjects including Digital Technology, Visual Art, Dance, Media, Modified Creative Arts and Community Connections.
