GrowingNZ Teachers' Day Out - North Otago

GrowingNZ Teachers’ Day Out is a professional development day especially for teachers, careers advisors, and transition educators where we visit a selection of businesses and organisations in your region. With a focus on science, technology and business, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to take a closer look at your local food & fibre sectors and the diverse range of roles and career pathways it offers.

The North Otago event:

The bus will depart Centennial Park, Taward Street, Oamaru, at 8.30am, returning at approximately 4.30pm. 

Site visits:

• Altavady Farms - career-changing into rearing dairy-beef 
• Newhaven Perendales - high country sheep genetics
• Topflite - arable diversification

This event can be safely held under Covid Alert Level 2. We ask that attendees have had at least one dose of the vaccine.
