With the way the digital world has changed in the last year and the impacts it has had on small business, we have decided to do something a little different for March's event.

We have put together an expert panel consisting of Brisbane's industry leaders in this space to talk us through the specific tools and strategies we need to know to utilise digital trends and grow our businesses to the next level, as well as share their journeys of growth as women in their industry.

It is going to be a real and raw conversation jam-packed with information for business owners wanting to grow!

Our first panellist, Amanda Cole is recognised as an expert in strategy for small business having facilitated strategic growth for over 100 businesses and Chaired the advisory boards of 8 private companies from start-up to $500m in turnover. She has founded two companies, sold two and been an investor in an e-commerce business, a catering company and occasionally helps run a car rental business with her husband Peter Clark founder of Crazy Clarks. She is the co-founder of Growth Education Institute (groei) Australia’s first-ever virtual multi-level mentoring program, designed to help regional small businesses grow sustainably and successfully.  

Next, we will be joined by Laura Campbell. A Partner in the Queensland Deloitte Digital Practice, known for digital transformation, strategy, and marketing optimisation, she co-leads a dynamic team of 75+ experienced consultants. This powerhouse leader is going to talk us through how to ensure you meet your expected ROI from your digital investment and optimise your marketing activity by making informed and future-focused decisions on the technology and systems that will support the growth of your business through digital transformation. 


Zoe Taylor is a Byron girl turned Brisbane based online Business Manager. She specialises in helping businesses understand their customer journey and then supports it with systems and automation. She is the master of all things email automation and launch strategies and is joining our panel to talk us through the common mistakes she sees people make when starting the automation process and how to get back on the right path.

Last but not least, is Jo Burgess. Jo is an experienced entrepreneur and business owner who co-founded and is a senior executive of a world-leading salon management platform called Shortcuts. More recently Jo founded Life Sorted, a shared family organiser ap, by combining her 20 years experience of in developing calendaring and booking systems for the complex international salon environment, with having a family and managing a household to create her next world-changing venture. She is also a business owner who has been through growth and digital implementation strategies and is looking forward to sharing her learnings first hand.
