Event description

Young walkers can become "mouse" to explore the deep dark woods on this self-guided walk to meet new friends including snake, fox, owl, a few special New Zealand species and... THE GRUFFALO! Enjoy storytelling and craft activities.

Key Details:

  • When: Thursday 24th April 2025 (No postponement date).
  • Start: Bottle Lake Forest Information Centre, Waitikiri Drive, Burwood.
  • Time: Starts anytime between 10am - 2pm with 15-minute booking slots.
  • Length: 2.3km easy, suitable for preschoolers and for children in pushchairs/buggies (Please note some areas however may be rocky or sandy).
  • No dogs please
