Based in Victoria Australia, Grumpy Neighbour has a distinctive, earthy sound driven by melody, harmony and story. Their songs are steeped in Australian stories and landscapes.

The band can be seen playing around the Victorian gold fields on occasion or touring Tasmania, their spiritual home.

Grumpy Neighbour will be touring Tasmania in February 2024.

Two old mates, singing songs and telling stories. Originally hailing from the far north of the deep south, Victorian-based, Grumpy Neighbour have been performing their way along the country’s highways and byways since early 2003. Purposeful lyrics and strong, folky melodies are delivered with country-fried three-part harmonies and slick, back verandah instrumentation. Grumpy Neighbour have three full-length releases in their online store front.

Songs from the heart and bullshit from the hip all the way from Burnie to Byron and back.

In February 2024 the Grumpies will be joined by a few more old mates as they perform their way around Tasmania. Join us for an evening of songs and stories, melodies and harmonies, and the occasional tall tale.
