Step into a world of giant surprises and magical beanstalks as the talented students of Gilles Street Primary School bring Roald Dahl’s whimsical Jack and the Beanstalk to life—with a twist! From Reception through Year 6, every class will take the stage, delivering vibrant performances filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable moments for the whole family.
Expect a colourful journey as Jack climbs the towering beanstalk, meeting larger-than-life characters and facing challenges with heart, grit, and a touch of the 90s spirit. The show will be a visual delight, with unexpected songs and a few glowing surprises to keep you on your toes!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- Filming, photography and videography of any type is not allowed due to child protection and copyright regulations. An official digital recording of the performance which abides by these restrictions will be available for purchase after the event.
- Every person is required to have a purchased seat and ticket. Young Children can sit on a lap but MUST stay on a lap for the entire performance. If you believe that they need a seat, please purchase them one.
- There is lift access to the Dress Circle (upstairs) and is easier for those who struggle with stairs to access (not appropriate for wheelchairs). There are steep stairs to gain access to the Stalls.
- Prams - Please note that there is limited space in the theatre to store prams. We ask that you do not bring a pram with you, of if you do, please ensure that it can be easily folded down for easy storage. The theatre is not responsible for looking after prams or baby-bags.
- If you need to leave the performance before the end of the show, we request that you purchase a ticket towards the back of the theatre and on the aisle edge so not to disturb others when leaving the venue.
- The theatre canteen/bar will be open for purchase of soft drinks and light snacks (no alcohol).
