Invasive Orchid Pull - GT Bray Park

Join us for a hands-on morning protecting our local ecosystems from a rapidly spreading threat. We’ll be targeting the Chinese ground orchid (Eulophia graminea), an aggressive invasive plant that suffocates local flora, damages hardscaping, and destroys native wildlife habitats.

Our volunteers will learn how to identify the plant and remove it properly so it doesn’t come back. It’s a great way to make a visible difference in one of our local parks.

What to know:

• Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and sun protection

• Bring water bottle

• Gloves, instructions and ice water will be provided
