GUARANGO is a dance-theatre Performance show created by Quique Miller in collaboration with Nicole Reddington. It’s been the way of cleaning the fear... Now I can see clearly my past, which is my present and future... I can feel the whole of my history in one step, the fear is almost gone, so it is more space to express my truth, also my vulnerability, the body is ageing, but not my spirit. Those feet are different today, than yesterday and are changing every day.  I'm starting to feel this land. the Wanaka is there, again very tangible …
Inhabiting the moment is challenging but I keep walking, feeling my hands awake, getting into my space is easier…The Music is part of my breathing,  the strings resonate within more than ever

QUIQUE MILLER is an Argentinian dancer and performer with a strong background in contemporary dance, Tango and theatre. Having trained with some of the leading dance institutions in Argentina and now in Christchurch and performed in various prestigious venues, Miller has honed their skills and developed a unique style that blends cultural influences, storytelling, and powerful physicality. As a member of a diverse minority group, Quique is passionate about using dance as a platform for promoting diversity, inclusivity, and empowerment within the arts community.

Nicole Reddington is a freelance cellist who has performed in a wide range of projects, bands and recordings. She brings a new perspective to traditional cello roles through her improvising work in solo performances and groups. She has worked extensively in theatre and for a while was also part of a tango band and an experimental large group ensemble, Silencio, in Christchurch. Nicole particularly enjoys reintroducing the beautiful yet melancholic sound of the cello to people through collaborations, specialising in using theatre as a vehicle to explore the range and often under-utilised elements the cello offers, especially when combined with other creative performers.
