Join us for a powerful and inspiring evening as we screen Guardians of Hope, a moving documentary that shines a light on the courage, resilience, and dedication of those working on the frontlines to protect people and the planet. Through real stories and lived experiences, the film highlights the strength of community, the importance of care, and the enduring power of hope in challenging times.
Come along for an evening of connection, reflection, and inspiration. Whether you’re passionate about social or environmental impact, or simply love meaningful storytelling, this screening offers a chance to engage with an important global conversation.
A snack bar and PAWA merchandise will be available for purchase on the night (cash & EFTPOS), with proceeds supporting the Protected Area Workers Association (PAWA).

- Is on-site parking available?
Street parking is available around the venue.
Disability parking is located within the gated venue
- What time should I arrive?
Doors open from 7pm.
We recommend arriving early to grab a good seat and visit the merch table and snack bar before the film begins at 7:45pm.
- Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes! A snack bar will be available on the night before and after the screening with light refreshments for purchase.
- Will there be merchandise available?
Yes, official documentary merchandise, along with exclusive PAWA items, will be available for purchase.
To make sure you don’t miss out on PAWA merch, we recommend pre-ordering and collecting your items on the night from the merch table.
- Is the screening suitable for all ages?
The documentary contains mature themes however has not received an official rating in Australia as yet. Parental guidance is recommended.

Thin Green Line is a global not-for-profit organisation that provides direct support to rangers so that they have the resources they need to protect wildlife and our natural world for the future.

All merch and snack bar sales will support the Protected Area Workers Association (PAWA)
Funds raised through this event will directly support Protected Area Workers in need. Over the past year, PAWA has amongst other things: • Hand-delivered 32 kg of personal protected items to the Fiji Ranger Association and BirdLife Fiji. • Distributed 274 kg of PPE to rangers in the Solomon Islands with support from NPWS funding. • Distributed 71 kg of PPE to community rangers in PNG - see photos attached. • Shipped over 300 kg of surplus personal protected items to rangers in Kenya protecting critically endangered rhinos. • Supplied five GPS units to the Samoa Ranger Association. • Sent firefighting equipment to Nepal.
