    Event description

Guide Dogs Victoria is excited to invite our clients to join us this July for the “Don’t Make It Up” program.

Makeup is a great way to express yourself, but it can be daunting if you’re not sure where to start. This program aims to support clients with low vision and blindness to learn basic makeup skills such as applying light makeup, skin preparation, skin care, removing makeup, and the use of different makeup tools.

We will host 2 half day sessions over the weeks of the July school holidays in Victoria. The sessions will be delivered by our OT team and are open to teenagers and adults of all gender identities and makeup skill levels. You are welcome to come to one day or both days.

This is a great opportunity to engage with peers and explore new skills to start or fine tune your makeup journey. These sessions are open to clients of all ages over 14, gender identities and whether you are starting your makeup journey or would like some skill building and support learning new skills.

If you are unsure which day to attend or cannot attend both days, it is encouraged to attend the first day on the July 5 to get the most out of your learning and experience.

    When: Day 1 Friday, July 5, 9am until 1pm.
