Headline: Guide dogs WA- Professional development, Puppies, and people.
Please join us for an Introduction to Guide Dog Services: with an overview of training and community use (including Guide Dog, Autism Assistance Dogs, Facility Dogs etc.)
- Discussion of the impact of dogs on people – stress management focus.
- Discussion of the emotional impact of vision loss, and strategies used to maintain.
- Volunteering with VisAbility and Guide Dogs WA.
- Time for puppy/dog cuddles!!! 😊
- Light lunch and Crisis Supporter connection time
Hosted by our Lifeline WA Wellbeing team. Maximum 30 people.
For Crisis Supporters this will contribute 2 hours toward your professional development requirements.
