Guided Bike Ride to Eco Living 2023 - Maroubra Beach via Heffron Park to Randwick Sustainability Hub

Are you excited about the upcoming Randwick Eco Festival? To make your festival experience even better, we're organising a Guided Bike Ride to help you avoid the parking hassle and embrace a greener, healthier way to arrive at the event! 

Details:

• Date: 10th September 2023
• Time: 8.45am for a prompt start at 9:00am
• Meeting Point: Broadarrow Reserve, Maroubra. From the beachfront, we will ride to Heffron Park to pick up some more riders and arrive at Eco Living at approximately 10 a.m.
• Destination: Randwick Sustainability Hub, 27 Munda Street, Randwick

Why Bike with Us?

1. Avoid Parking Woes: With limited parking available at the festival, our guided bike ride offers a convenient and eco-friendly alternative.
2. Friendly Guides: Our experienced guides will lead the way, ensuring a slow, easy, and leisurely pace.
3. Family-Friendly: Children are more than welcome to join in on the fun! However, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children should be able to maintain a steady pace and ride approximately 6 kilometres, or you can use an approved bike seat or trailer. The ride will be on the road. For children under 14, you might want to consider meeting us at Heffron Park to avoid the steepest hill. Please book for the Heffron Park Guided Ride. Anyone under 9 years is not allowed to enter into the ride as an independent rider. This restriction applies to participants riding on their own bike without any assistance. It does not apply to children that may be:
   – seated in a child seat on the back or front of your bike.
   – Rides in a bicycle trailer, or rides on a tag along or similar device that is connected to your bicycle.
4. Discover Randwick: We'll take you on a scenic journey through the bicycle-friendly streets of Randwick, showcasing the beauty of our community.
5. Get Answers: Have any questions about biking? Our guides will be more than happy to assist you.

What to Bring:

• A roadworthy bicycle with properly pumped tyres and a helmet.
