Sustainability Week: Guided BioBlitz Session
Description
Sustainability Week coincides with Australia’s national Biodiversity Month!
Learn about Australian wildlife and contribute real data for biodiversity conservation research this September.
BioBlitz’s are fun-filled opportunities that focus on finding and identifying as many species as possible to collect a lot of biodiversity sightings over a short period of time. Attend this one-hour guided Bioblitz session in the System Garden campus to learn how to use the iNaturalist app and some neat tricks for recording the best observation. Register here and put your skills to use by participating in the University's month-long BioBlitz to be in the running for some cool prizes.
Students can also join our citizen science program as a Healthy Ecosystems volunteer to gain recognition towards Melbourne Plus in the Sustainability advocacy credential.
