    Event description

Experience the rich biodiversity of the RAMSAR-listed Hunter Estuary as we glide through the mangrove-fringed Ironbark Creek and its tributaries on a guided tour.

Paddling along the tranquil waterways we will spot wetlands wildlife such as Egrets, Kingfishers and Osprey while learning about the history and ecology of this unique environment. After a warm winter snack, we will continue the tour on foot through the rainforest and marshland. This is a unique opportunity to visit parts of the Hunter that is only accessible by water.
