Located 15 mins from Newcastle city, The Hunter Wetlands Centre is haven for wildlife and people. Founded in the 1984, the Hunter Wetlands Centre site was restored from old rugby fields into a wetlands of international significance.

As a self-funded, community-owned, not-for-profit charity, the Hunter Wetlands Centre is a vital force in environmental conservation.
