Description

If you are 60 plus, this meditation course exclusively designed for the Hunter Wetlands Centre may interest you!

Surrounded by the beauty of the tranquil Hunter Wetlands, you’ll be guided step by step, lesson by lesson, through meditations and exercises about human energy possibilities with a focus on happiness and inner peace, where every individual will progress through at their own pace within the group setting.

This introductory 5 session course is FREE with entry by donation to the Hunter Wetlands Centre.

Course Schedule:

There will be a total of 5 classes held fortnightly on Sunday mornings

Dates: 18 October 2026 - 13 December 2026  

Time: 8.30am-9.30am

Session 1: Sunday 18th October

Session 2: Sunday 1st November

Session 3: Sunday 15th November

Session 4: Sunday 29th November

Session 5: Sunday 13th December

Please bring to the class with you:

1/ Portable/foldable camping chair with back support. 

2/ Bring a bottle of water, sunglasses, a light blanket. Whatever you may need on the day. Classes will run indoor in bad weather.

3/ Dress code - Be yourself, but wear light coloured fabrics if you can. While you are advised to spray your clothes with insect repellant in case of mosquitos, kindly avoid other perfumes or strong scented deodorants.

Classes will be held outdoors, or under one of our open air shelters depending on weather.
