Below are some important details for online events.

When: See your session time above. Please be on time. To respect the experience for all, participants may not be accepted from the waiting room after 10 minutes into the start time.

Where: On your device, via Zoom. Link will be provided in the reminder email a few days prior.

I recommend that you find a place where you will feel safe, comfortable and totally ok to sit and wander slowly, with some elements of nature. This might be

In a park, garden, balcony or backyard
At home, next to a window with a view outside or perhaps with a pet, a collection of indoor plants or maybe some fruits, vegetables, nuts & seeds from your pantry

What to expect: We will spend our time in slow guided playfulness, awakening our senses and noticing nature. This is a carefully sequenced event and will not be recorded. Attendees more than 10 minutes late may not be able to join in to ensure the quality of experience for all. At the final part of the walk, we share in a virtual tea ritual. You are invited to bring your own tea and snack (there will be few minutes to put the kettle on at this time).

What to bring / have ready for a best possible experience:

Your *charged* smartphone or laptop with an internet connection
Switch off your notifications and put your phone on 'silent'
Organise your day so that you can be settled in place before starting
Headphones or earbuds
Water
A simple snack e.g. fruit and nuts
If you are able, it is nice to have tea with me at the end ritual. You might like to have the kettle and cup ready, or bring a thermos on your walk.

What to wear:

If you're going to be outside, please check your local weather forecast so that you can be prepared.

Weather- and location- appropriate clothing for being comfortable outside for up to two hours - consider an extra layer
Enclosed footwear
Insect repellent
If you’re planning on being outside, you’ll be glad that you brought something to sit or lie down on, e.g. towel or picnic blanket

We will be moving quite slowly and not working up much of a sweat (as you might if you were bushwalking). I usually wear long trousers, long sleeves, boots and a hat - to protect me from the sun, the bugs, the snakes and so I that I feel comfortable sitting on the ground.
