Central Coast Montessori - Guided Observation

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

Attendance at a CCM Online Discovery Session is mandatory before attending a Guided Observation.

You must have already attended an Online Discovery Session before booking this event.

Anyone who has not attended a Discovery Session will not be admitted to the Guided Observation, even if they have made a booking.

If you have not yet attended, please book and attend an Online Discovery Session first.

Guided Observation — Experience Montessori in Practice

Following your Online Discovery Session, a Guided Observation provides an opportunity to visit Central Coast Montessori and experience Montessori education in action.

During your visit, you'll observe our Preschool (3–6 years) and Primary (6–12 years) learning environments while children are engaged in their everyday activities.

Discover how our prepared environments, Montessori materials and the role of the guide support children's independence, concentration and learning.

This experience provides a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of Montessori education and ask questions arising from your observations.

Visiting Both Campuses — An Important Part of Your Guided Observation

We ask all parents to attend both the Preschool and Primary components of the Guided Observation, regardless of their child's age or intended entry stage.

Experiencing both learning environments provides a fuller understanding of Montessori education at CCM. It allows families to see how children's independence, concentration and learning develop across the different stages, and how Montessori principles provide continuity throughout our 0–12 learning journey.

Visiting both campuses helps families appreciate the progression of Montessori education within our one learning community and make a more informed decision about their child's educational journey.

Where We Meet

9:30 am — Preschool Campus
2 Warrambool Road, Wamberal NSW

Your Guided Observation begins at our Preschool campus.

Following your Preschool observation, you will drive yourself to our Primary campus for the second part of your visit.

Primary Campus
10–12 Debra Anne Drive, Bateau Bay NSW

Please arrange your own transport between campuses, as CCM does not provide transport.

The Guided Observation concludes at approximately 11:30 am.

Please Note

Guided Observations are for parents only, to minimise disruption to children's learning.

Attendance at both campuses is expected as part of the complete Guided Observation experience.
