With the Fremantle Traffic Bridge currently closed, choosing active travel options can make getting around easier while helping reduce congestion. Riding a bike is a great way to stay active, reduce stress, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our city.

Please register by clicking the ‘Register’ button above. When selecting tickets, add one ticket per person (e.g. a family of four should select individual tickets for adults and children).

Other information
Each participant must bring their own bike and helmet. We encourage you to ride to the event, and please note that bikes are permitted on Transperth train and ferry services during off‑peak times. Find out more about taking your bike on a train via the Transperth website.
Age and ability requirements:
Suitable for ages 10+
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
All participants must be able to independently ride a two‑wheeled bike

About your guide
Maeve Harvey is a highly regarded local historian, researcher, and educator based in Fremantle (Walyalup), Western Australia. She has spent years documenting the social and architectural history of the area, often focusing on the "hidden” narratives, the stories of the working class, early settlers, and the evolving landscape of the West End.
